Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)

An EICR checks whether your property's wiring and electrics are safe. It's also known as the 'Landlord Safety Test' or the 'Homebuyer's Test'.  It is recommended that you have an EICR every 10 years regardless. If you rent out a property, you should have one every five years, or sooner if specified in the most recent report.

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

PAT or portable appliance testing is a policy in the UK in which routine safety checks are performed on electrical appliances. Essentially, this is a common sense safety regulation to ensure that any people, workers, or tenants who might come into contact with portable electrical appliances are not at risk of injury.

Smart Home Solutions/Automation

A smart home is a home equipped with devices that can automate tasks and are controlled by various means, including, apps, remotes, switches, voice commands or artificial intelligence.

For some, turning a house into a smart home may mean as little as installing a smart speaker. For others it can involve linking many devices, including lighting, cameras, computers, locks, TVs, security systems, thermostats and more.
